Happy New Year! In the first edition of The Element for 2025, we're excited to share significant achievements from 2024. Our Kings Mountain Mine project reached key milestones, including the commencement of dewatering the legacy mine pit, submission of state and federal permit applications, and active community engagement, with over 2.5 million dollars in contributions to Kings Mountain and surrounding areas since 2016.
In honor of Kings Mountain's 150th anniversary, the Albemarle Foundation awarded $150,000 in grants to 21 non-profit organizations serving Cleveland County, supporting programs focused on education, health and cultural initiatives.
As part of our commitment to responsible mining, we conducted an Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) Report to better understand and manage the potential impacts of the proposed mine.
