Magnolia Community

Community Partnerships

For over 55 years, Albemarle’s Magnolia location and Foundation have contributed deeply to our community, guided by core values of Care, Curiosity, Collaboration, Humility, Accountability, and Integrity.

Our Magnolia team proudly supports local non-profits such as the Magnolia Junior Charity League, Columbia County Animal Protection Society, United Community Organization, The Caring Place and Magnolia Boys & Girls Club. We also engage in community events like the Magnolia Blossom Festival, Magnolia Arts music nights, local school-sponsored Trunk or Treats, Magnolia Panther Pep Rallies, and Petals for Compassion.

In addition to fostering a thriving community, we are committed to building a strong, diverse workforce for Magnolia and Columbia County. Through partnerships with our local K-12 schools, community colleges, and Southern Arkansas University (SAU), we inspire students to pursue careers in STEM and explore future opportunities with Albemarle. Our employees have served as adjunct professors at SAU, provide input on student curriculums, and volunteer in science projects, delivering hands-on STEM activities for local schools and SAU’s Kids & Teen Colleges.

Albemarle also prioritizes its care for the well-being and safety of our community through our continued support of the Magnolia Police, Columbia County Sheriff’s Department, Magnolia Fire Department, Rural Volunteer Fire Departments, and the Columbia County Ambulance Service. Together, we are committed to building a more resilient world right here in Magnolia.
