In celebration of Kings Mountain's 150th anniversary, the Albemarle Foundation proudly awarded $150,000 in grants to local nonprofits. One recipient, Common Ground Café, an organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals to seniors in need, is using these funds to expand its services from Shelby to the Kings Mountain area, addressing food insecurity among senior residents.
