In classrooms, food pantries, shelters, parks and more, Albemarle employees have supported neighbors in need with donations of time, resources and expertise throughout the year.

Albemarle’s commitment to responsible mining extends beyond extracting valuable minerals from rock. We take particular care with mine tailings, the material left over after sought-after minerals – in our case, lithium – are separated from rock or soil.

As the community of Kings Mountain, N.C. celebrates its 150th anniversary, the Albemarle Foundation honored the city by awarding $150,000 in grants to non-profit organizations that support Cleveland County residents.

Because of the growth in production and demands from regulators and customers for information on greenhouse gas emissions, developing product carbon footprint assessments has become a timely challenge.
