Job Description

The Benefits Analyst is a key contributor to the Total Rewards/Benefits Team. This role involves effective coordination with external parties for data transfer, meticulous oversight of benefit analysis reporting, and adept resolution of eligibility and claims issues. The ideal candidate will ensure the accuracy of financial operations and uphold the company's commitment to employee well-being by facilitating a smooth benefits delivery system. As a Benefits Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the precision of financial transactions and supporting the company's dedication to employee well-being through a seamless benefits delivery system.

What you will do:

Health & Welfare Benefits

  • Manage financial aspects of benefits including invoice submission, including self-billed benefits, details of payments and reconciliation of benefit deductions to ensure accurate General Ledger posting and payroll processing
  • Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to resolve any invoice-related issues
  • Maintain accurate records of all invoices and corresponding payments
  • Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
  • Provide employee related reporting for benefit plan analysis, eligibility, coverage, and costs
  • Serve as a liaison to resolve issues related to eligibility, coverage, and claims between employees and benefit vendors
  • Oversees electronic interfaces and reporting of data to and from 3rd party vendors; including auditing for accuracy and resolving import errors

What you bring:

  • 2+ years of experience with Benefits Administration and Financial Reconciliation
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and proficiency in advanced Excel functions
  • Experienced in computing rates, ratios, and percentages in gathering and applying benefits data
  • Ability to prioritize effectively, while recognizing complex situations and when there is a need to escalate for resolution
  • Can maintain confidentiality of protected and sensitive data and ensure compliance with HIPAA and GDPR
  • The ability to work with people in sensitive situations with empathy, objectivity, and respect
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interactions with employees and stakeholders at all levels
  • Capable of autonomous work as well as collaborative team efforts
  • Strong project management skills with proven ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Experience with HRIS systems and proven experience in invoice reconciliation and financial data auditing.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Budapest Office.
