Polyurea

ETHACURE® curatives are excellent choices for polyurea spray applications. Because they are liquids, you never have to pre-dissolve with solvents. The favorable reaction times often increase productivity and finished products have excellent abrasion resistance. You can even apply coatings in winter. Applications include wastewater containment and water park linings, tank coatings, pipeline coatings, manhole and sewer linings, flooring and parking decks, bridge coatings, truckbed liners, railcar linings, joint fillers/caulks/sealant and roof coatings.

NEW from Albemarle for Polyurea/Polyurethane Systems:

Albemarle now offers ETHACURE 420 chain extender, a proven aromatic diamine for polyurea and polyurethane formulations used to produce coatings, adhesives, sealants and elastomers. ETHACURE 420 chain extender is designed for use with other Albemarle ETHACURE curatives for cure-rate adjustment. Applicators appreciate the way it improves pot life, and they like the ease of application. Thicker, more consistent coatings are easy to create, as are the soft elastomers used in caulks and sealants.
