Albemarle is one of the world's leading suppliers of bromine and bromine based products. We supply the industry through production of elemental bromine at our North American facilities in Magnolia, AR as well as through our joint venture partner, Jordon Bromine Company, in Safi, Jordon.In addition, other brominated derivatives are produced at four production sites around the world.

Bromine is used in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals, flame retardants, water treatment chemicals, insect repellents, photographic chemicals, perfumes, dyes, oilfield completion fluids and other chemicals.
