CFI (Cold Flow Improvement)

Albemarle together with Total Research offers technology for the improvement of cold flow properties (CFI) by selective cracking of long chain paraffins. CFI technology combines dewaxing, to improve cold flow properties (pour point, cloud point, CFPP, freezing point), with UD-HDS for production of ultra low sulfur diesel. The technology can be tailored to meet the specific needs of the refiner by proper selection of catalyst systems and operating conditions.
